From the Daily Chronicle: BEST OF LEWIS COUNTY: Centralia attorney Peter Abbarno, a 20th District lawmaker and former Chronicle Person of the Year, was selected by voters as the winner of the Best Volunteer category. Abbarno was voted Best Volunteer in 2018 and 2020-2022.

There are so many amazing volunteers and charitable organizations in Lewis County and throughout the district. Thank you Chronicle readers for recognizing my efforts and the efforts of my family. We are very appreciative of all the volunteers and organizations and their efforts to improve our community.

Peter Abbarno

Abbarno and his family started the Centralia Back-to-School Supply Drive and active in many community activities with the Hub City Mission, United Way of Lewis County, Centralia College Foundation, Centralia School District, Friends of Seminary Hill, and youth sports.
