Stronger Families. Stronger Communities. Stronger Washington

Beginning just after Christmas on Thursday, Dec. 28, the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will host the first of four Zoom conferences with Washington state 20th Legislative District legislators Sen. John Braun, Rep. Ed Orcutt and Rep. Peter Abbarno.

The lawmakers will provide district residents with updates about what’s going on in Olympia.

December’s conference begins at 7:30 a.m., with the second conference scheduled for Jan. 25, the third on Feb. 22 and the fourth on March 28, according to a chamber news release.

While all three legislators may not be able to attend each conference, at least one will be present at each one to share the latest updates concerning local and state matters.

The sessions are on Zoom, so those who wish to participate can do so from the comfort of their own home or office. The lawmakers will provide updates on critical issues during the current legislative session.

Zoom participants will have opportunities to comment or ask questions as well.

“We want to thank Rep. Peter Abbarno for getting this started and appreciate the time Sen. John Braun and Rep. Ed Orcutt are able to commit,” Chamber Executive Director Cynthia Mudge said in the release. “These sessions have offered invaluable insights into the current issues.”
