My name is Peter Abbarno. I am the current State Representative in the 20th legislative District, which includes Ridgefield, La Center, parts of Battle Ground, Hockinson, Yacolt and more.
I am an attorney, business owner, but most importantly I am a husband to a public-school teacher and father to two school aged children.
Clark County has experienced extensive growth over the past four years that I’ve been serving as State Representative. Over the years, due to redistricting and court decisions, Clark County has become a bigger and bigger piece of the 20th Legislative District, which stretches all the way to communities in Thurston County.
In the Legislature, I serve as the ranking member on the House Capital Budget, and on House Environment and Energy Committee and House Civil Rights and Judiciary Committee. As your representative, I focus my efforts on building relationships that benefit our daily life- I call those “kitchen table issues”.
As your advocate in Olympia, I have secured funding through the capital budget to improve local schools, expand childcare and early learning access, build essential infrastructure, address the causes of homelessness, like mental health and addiction… and create economic and quality of life opportunities for all of us.
I believe we can build stronger families and stronger communities by focusing on real solutions to those ‘kitchen table’ issues. With your help, if re-elected, I will continue fighting for meaningful tax relief; safer neighborhoods; a more open, transparent, and accountable government; and creating economic and educational opportunities so every child and family has an opportunity for success.
Together, I know we can set Clark County, SW Washington, and the Evergreen State on a path to success and prosperity.
I hope I can count on your vote and support. To learn more about me and my campaign for State Representative, visit my website: ElectPeterAbbarno.com, that’s ElectPeterAbbarno.com.
